The afterlife, higher powers, life’s purpose, signs of the times; spiritual discussions can make some people uncomfortable, but just know, my intent is never to offend. The critic of religion is usually someone who considers themselves “open minded”. Thank God the category is called “spirituality and uplift” and not religion. If my Christianity comes through in my opinions on the more spiritual matters, I hope the non-Christian reader can have an open mind enough to acknowledge when they’ve heard or witnessed the truth or start the debate in the comment section when they disagree. I hope my reader won’t assume a Christian has nothing to offer in the conversation of spirituality, nor assume the Bible offers no sound guidance for spiritual growth. Above all, I hope the reader recognize my intentions in the words “and Uplift”, understanding the difference between “and” and “or”. If you read something, and it brings you closer to being “saved“, that’s Awesome! However, if you read something, and it helps you grow as a person, that’s great too.
